Misa is a very special girl with a story of resilience.

She was surrendered just one day before she was scheduled to be euthanized, and we were honored to give her the second chance she so deserved. Shortly after arriving, we learned she was diabetic, and with proper care and treatment, she has blossomed into a completely different cat. Misa takes her twice-daily insulin like a champ, enjoys her special diet, and has shown us just how sweet, affectionate and loving she truly is.

This gentle girl adores cuddling, soaking up attention and lounging in sunny windows and watching “Bird TV.” Now and then, she bats around her favorite silvervine toy, but her greatest joy is being close to you. She is sensitive and can become overstimulated, so Misa would thrive in a quiet, patient and adult-only home where she can relax and feel safe. As she’s only been a solo cat, it’s unknown how she would do with other pets.
