Other Ways We Help

  • Almost Home Cat Rescue MKE collects donations of pet food and supplies for members of our community who may be enduring a difficult time and need help feeding their pets.

No one should have to choose between their own needs and their pet's well-being. We’re here to bridge that gap, lending a helping hand to ensure every cat can stay in their loving home, even through life’s tougher chapters.

Learn more about the pet pantry, pick-up information and how to request supplies HERE.

  • Almost Home Cat Rescue supports Trap-Neuter-Return-Monitor (TNRM).

It’s similar to Trap-Neuter-Release (TNR) with one key difference: When cats are returned outdoors, they do so with a caretaker who feeds them, monitors them, and ensures they have access to veterinary care for any health issues that may arise.

While we do not have a dedicated TNRM program, we are always here to help and point you in the right direction. If you need help humanely trapping a cat, view our PDF of available resources HERE.

  • Whether you’re a first-time cat owner or have owned or cared for them before, it’s important to have reliable information to turn to when you have a question.

View a variety of available resources and one-pagers, from Health & Wellness to Behavior & Training HERE.
