  • Buy 2026 AHCR First 500 Cats Calendar!

    Available NOW, in time for holiday gift giving!

    In April of 2025, we passed the milestone of adopting out our 500th cat. To celebrate, we put together our “First 500 Cats Calendar” for 2026.

    Get your calendar(s) for just $20 - for yourself and for gift giving, and to keep the precious cats with you all year long.

    Support our work rehoming cats and helping community pets stay in their homes. Limited quantity available! Purchase at the rescue and at our events.

  • 11.24.25 Cousins Sub Fundraiser

    Join us on 11/24/25 from 4–7 PM at Cousins Subs (7495 W Layton Ave, Greenfield) for a delicious way to support the kitties!

    20% of all sales during this time will be donated back to Almost Home Cat Rescue MKE to help us continue saving lives.

  • 12.05.25 Festive Furst Furday with Ugly Sweater Contest!

    6- 8 p.m.

    925 E Ogden Ave
    Milwaukee, WI 53202

    Get your ugly holiday sweater on and join us for the festivities! Bonus points if there is cat representation on your sweater. Will your gloriously tacky sweater be the winner? Only one way to find out.
    We'll also have our Giving Tree up - grab tag that lists an item in need by our rescue or pets in the community, and bring it back on your next visit.
    As always, for our monthly Friday Open House, we'll have light refreshments, games available to play, and of course, fabulous cats to hang out with!

    10 a.m. - 2 p.m.

    Milwaukee, WI 53202

    Come one, come all - including cats and dogs* - to visit with Santa Claus and get your picture taken with him. Just $10 per grouping. Support our work helping cats find homes, as well as helping our community to keep their pets in their homes.
    *All pets should be on leashes. Those with dogs may need to wait outside for a little bit while a cat is having their picture taken with the big guy!Description goes here
