Our Community Pet Pantry

We provide pet food and supplies to owners who are struggling and/or enduring financial hardship. Pets are family, and we want to ensure that they stay healthy and fed in any circumstance.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • We supply what is available at the time of the request. For past recipients, these have been items like food, litter, toys, bowls, beds, collars, leashes, treats, litter pans and litter scoops.

Other items may be donated to the Community PetPantry, but are not always guaranteed.

  • No, there is no limit as to how many animals we will provide food and supplies for in your home. We will provide what we’re able to; however, we may not be able to provide enough for all animals or for a longer period of time.

  • We’ll try our best to accommodate the special request based on what is available. In the instance we don’t have it, we’ll try to find a suitable alternative from the Community Pantry supply at that time.

  • If you’re unable to pick up during our Community Pet Pantry business hours, please email the Community Resource Officer to let them know: Community@almosthomemke.com.

We’ll attempt to schedule alternative arrangements according to availability.

  • Unfortunately, no. We don’t currently provide food for outdoor cat colonies.

  • Though we don’t require proof of income, we do ask for your approximate monthly income.

Knowing these numbers helps us understand how much our community needs this support and may allow us to obtain larger amounts of food, litter or other items for your pet(s).

Your income information is not used for any other purpose or eligibility determination, and it is not used in conjunction with any other information provided on the form.

  • You can email the Community Resource Officer directly at: Community@almosthomemke.com
