Our Story

In 2021, we set out to establish Milwaukee’s first cage-free and fear-free cat rescue. And since then, we’ve rescued, rehabilitated, and rehomed nearly 700 of them. To celebrate half a decade of life-saving work, we’re raising a glass to the volunteers, donors, and adopters who made every one of these stories possible.

    This crowd favorite is back! For a donation of $20, you’re guaranteed at least $25 in gift cards for major retailers, dining and more. It’s a perfect way to support the rescue and take home a little something for yourself.

    We’ll have high-value themed baskets ranging from "The Ultimate Tailgate" to "A Passport to Europe." It’s a chance to bid on luxury items and experiences, with 100% of the proceeds going to the cats and kittens in our care.

  • 👕 Exclusive 5th Anniversary Merch

    We’ll have limited-edition Almost Home Cat Rescue MKE and OctoPURRfest apparel and gifts designed specifically for this milestone year — available only at Ope! Brewing Co. while supplies last.

    With a stellar lineup of local food trucks, soda pops, wine, signature cocktails, and a wide range of NA and CBD options, there’s a toast for every taste. Grab a bite, find your favorite pour and let’s raise a glass!

    We’ll have the vibes going all afternoon as you browse the auction and grab a beverage. Incredible music, great company and a potential appearance from a Lambeau Legend are in store.
