Fred came to us after his owner could no longer care for him, and while he may take a little time to warm up, it’s well worth the wait. Once he trusts you, Fred becomes an absolute love bug who adores being around his people. He’s a true “velcro kitty,” happily following you from room to room and chirping for pets when he wants attention. Curious and playful, Fred especially loves chasing string toys and can quickly turn into a ball of energy during playtime

When the excitement winds down, Fred is just as happy to relax and soak up quality time with his favorite humans, often curling up in your lap while you watch TV. He does have a few preferences—he’s not a fan of belly rubs or being picked up—but he more than makes up for it with his affectionate, loyal nature. Fred would do best as the only cat in the home, where he can soak up all the love and attention, and would thrive with older, respectful children who understand his boundaries.
