Meet Chalupa!

Chalupa came to us with her siblings as a young kitten, and this sweet girl has grown into quite the personality! She’s curious, brave, affectionate, and absolutely loves being the center of attention. Whether she’s playing with her kitty friends or soaking up attention from her humans, Chalupa is happiest when she’s part of the action - and if there’s Churu involved, even better! She does great with other cats and would likely do well with a calm dog or children. Chalupa does have a unique left eye that makes her extra special: her third eyelid stays up most of the time, and she occasionally gets a watery eye. Our vet has evaluated her eye and followed up with her throughout her time with us, and after trying both oral and eye medications, we believe she was likely born this way. The good news? It doesn’t affect her vision or slow down her sense of adventure one bit! She takes a daily supplement to help with the weepiness, and she takes it like a champ when it’s mixed into her favorite Churu! She may need eye drops as needed during flare-ups, and there’s a chance this could improve with time. Chalupa is ready to find a family who will adore her just the way she is!
