Meet Beans!

Beans is a shy, sensitive cat who is still building confidence after being surrendered from a home that wasn’t the right fit for her needs. Loud noises and children overwhelm her, so she does best in a quiet, predictable home where she can take her time adjusting and learning to trust. Once comfortable, she enjoys soft cozy spots, sunny window seats, gentle breezes, and rolling on a soft rug while quietly observing her surroundings.

She is very food-motivated, especially for Churu! She happily takes her daily fluoxetine medication with it, which helps reduce anxiety and supports her confidence and emotional comfort. While she isn’t very interested in interactive play yet, she is beginning to come out more during the day as she settles in. Beans can be easily startled if she feels trapped, but she is learning to relax and enjoy gentle affection on her own terms. She will thrive with a patient, cat-savvy adopter who can give her a calm, stable home and let her set the pace.
