Amari

DOB 5/15/2025

DSH, Brown Tabby

Male/Neutered

*Yellow Collar*

Amari’s story began on the cold streets of Milwaukee, where he survived on his own before finding safety and warmth. Because of his past, he can be shy and nervous in new situations, often taking a little time to feel safe. With patience and kindness, though, Amari begins to show his true self - an incredibly sweet and gentle boy who is learning that human affection can be comforting and safe.

Once he feels secure, Amari’s playful side shines, especially when it’s time to chase his favorite wand toy. He does well with other cats and may enjoy having a calm feline friend. We are unsure how he would do with dogs, so slow, careful introductions would be important if a dog is in the home. Because he can be sensitive, Amari would do best with older children who understand how to give him space and let his confidence grow. With time and love, Amari will become a deeply devoted and playful companion.
