Matrix + Jackfire

Hi, my name is Jackfire! I am a calm, independent, and low-key kitty. I am shy at first, but I am learning how to trust new people. My cat tree is my favorite place to sleep and watch what is going on outside, especially when I can lay in the sun. I don’t usually play on my own, but my best friend Matrix has been getting me running around to playfully chase each other! I love playing with wand toys that have strings or feathers. The laser pointer is my favorite toy, and I love hunting it when it is above my eye level. I don’t like sudden movements. I am not sure if I like dogs or kids, but my foster family has 2 dogs in a separate part of the house that were very loud and I didn’t have a problem. I loved Matrix right away, so I think I would be happy with another kitty friend. I like all flavors of Temptation treats and I will never say no to a Delectables SqueezeUps in whatever flavor. I am learning how to “sit” and “up” with the SqueezeUps and making progress! I am always excited to see my foster mom and will greet her at the door and rub up against her to show my love. If you see me roll onto my side on my cat tree, I am letting you know I would love some pets. I give lovey eyes when you tell me I am a good boy! If you want me to purr instantly, softly rubbing my chin is the way to go. I do like pets, but I prefer to guide you where to pet me and politely let you know when I need my space. Don’t worry though, I will be back to say hi after a short amount of time!

Hi, I’m Matrix, the other half of this dynamic duo! I am friendly and a social butterfly who gets along with anyone. My favorite thing is to snuggle! I love to sit on your lap and serenade you with my purring. My second favorite thing is playing with my best friend Jackfire. He is very patient with me when I want to play longer than he does. I am learning when he needs his space, which is when I go off to play with all wand toys, the floppy fish, crinkle balls, and balls that jungle! I like to be fed on time, otherwise. I can get hangry and somewhat vocal, which I like to call “communication.” Like Jack I didn’t have a problem with the dogs. I have not met any children and I like other kitties. I don’t need urinary food like Jack, so I eat my meals separately so I don’t try and eat his food. I’m not picky when it comes to treats, so whatever Jackfire likes I will eat! My foster mom says I have had some tough spots in my life, which is why I had to have my leg amputated, but I am a trooper and still a very happy kitty who loves life and the ones around me.
