Malachai was transferred to us from our partner Feline Canine Friends after being found as a stray with his three siblings. He is a quiet, observant boy who prefers to take in his surroundings before jumping into the action. One of his favorite pastimes is birdwatching from a cozy window perch. Though initially shy and cautious, Malachai has been slowly coming out of his shell and showing more interest in playtime every day.

He’s the kind of cat who might dart away at first but will soon return to quietly observe you with curious eyes—and eventually, seek gentle affection. Loud noises can make him nervous, so a calm, predictable home environment would be ideal. Malachai would likely thrive with other friendly cats, possibly a mellow dog, and older, respectful children who can give him the time and space he needs to feel safe and secure.
