Jake was transferred to us from our partner Feline Canine Friends after being rescued from a hoarding situation, and he is now ready to find a loving forever home. Though he can be a bit shy at first and startles with loud noises, once he feels safe, his sweet and affectionate side shines through. He adores being petted and doted on, and he’ll happily soak up all the love and attention you’re willing to give.

This handsome boy has a playful side too—he’s a big fan of chasing the laser pointer, watching the world go by from a sunny window, and curling up for cozy naps in his cat tree. Jake would do well in a calm home with other cats, and possibly even a gentle, laid-back dog. Older, respectful children would also make great companions for him. With a little patience at the start, Jake will blossom into a loyal, loving, and playful member of the family.
