Sirius was transferred to us from the Humane Society of Waupaca after being found as a stray. When he first arrived, he was very shy and reserved, but with plenty of patience (and his favorite Churu treats), he has been steadily coming out of his shell. Sirius is learning that gentle pets and human companionship are good things, and he enjoys quietly observing the world from a cozy cubby or relaxing by a sunny window

Sirius truly enjoys the company of other cats and would do well with a feline friend in his forever home, though he could also thrive as a solo cat if showered with love and attention. We are unsure how he would do with dogs, and he would do best with older, respectful children. Sirius would flourish in a calm, patient household that is willing to continue supporting his socialization journey at his own pace.
