Dax was transferred to us from our partner Humane Society of Waupaca after his owner could no longer care for him. He can be a bit shy when first meeting new people, but with a little patience his trusting and sweet personality quickly shines through. Once he feels comfortable, Dax shows just how loving he is and enjoys soaking up attention from his favorite people.

As his confidence grows, Dax becomes quite playful and enjoys engaging with those around him. He does well with other cats and may also do well in a home with a calm, gentle dog. Dax would thrive in a family with children who understand that he needs a little time and space to warm up, and who can respect his initially shy nature.
