Athena was surrendered when it became clear that her previous home environment wasn’t the best fit for her needs. A household with a young child proved to be too stressful for her, and she’s now looking for a calmer, more understanding home where she can feel secure and relaxed. Despite this change, Athena is a happy and outgoing girl who loves attention—she’ll eagerly seek out pets and affection and never turns down a chance to be doted on.

This playful lady can turn almost anything into a toy, but string toys are her absolute favorite—and she’s very proud of how high she can jump while chasing them! While her experience with other cats or dogs is unknown, she may do well with a slow, proper introduction, keeping in mind that she has a more dominant personality. Athena would do best with older, respectful children who can read her cues, as she can become overstimulated at times. With the right home, Athena will make a fun, loving, and engaging companion
