Iris came to us after her beloved owner sadly passed away, leaving her in search of a new home filled with love and patience. Though she may be a bit shy when first meeting new people, Iris quickly blossoms into a social, affectionate companion once she feels safe. She adores being brushed, soaking up the sun in a cozy window spot, and rolling around in catnip. Her gentle nature makes her a wonderful cat for someone who appreciates quiet companionship and soft moments.

While Iris isn’t fond of being picked up and is easily startled by loud noises, she thrives in a calm and predictable environment. She has lived peacefully with other cats and even a small dog, showing she can be a lovely addition to a multi-pet household. Because of her sensitive nature, older, respectful children would be the best match for her.
