Howie
DOB 8/12/2024
DSH, Brown Tabby
Male/Neutered
Howie came to us from our partner, the Humane Society of Waupaca, after being found as a stray, and he has proven himself to be an absolute sweetheart. This social butterfly thrives on affection, happily curling up in laps for long naps and eagerly soaking up all the attention he can get. Playtime is another favorite, and he isn’t picky about toys—he’ll happily chase, bat, and pounce on whatever you offer. With his easygoing personality, Howie would do well in a home with other cats, dogs, and children.
When Howie first arrived, we noticed he sometimes made a funny noise when breathing, so he spent time in foster care for monitoring and a full medical workup. The great news is that he checked out completely healthy! Our vet suspects the sound may be from a little leftover sinus inflammation from a past respiratory infection. He may still make the noise at times, but otherwise he’s doing wonderfully. We’ll continue to support his adopters to ensure he stays happy and healthy—because Howie is so ready to bring his affection and charm into his forever home.
