Hettie came to us from our partners at Feline Canine Friends after her previous owners moved out of state and could no longer keep her. With two dogs in the home that made her anxious, it simply wasn’t the right environment for her. Since arriving in our care, she’s shown us that while she may be shy at first, she’s a gentle, loving girl who blossoms once she feels safe. She truly enjoys attention and companionship from her trusted humans.

Because Hettie is head shy, fast movements toward her face can make her nervous, so she’ll thrive in a calm, patient home that gives her space to build confidence. She does well with other cats but must be in a dog-free home to feel secure. With older, respectful children who understand her boundaries, Hettie will make a sweet and devoted companion ready to settle into a peaceful life.
